Residence
Residence in Italy: my return
Living permanently abroad requires, as provided by Italian law, registration with AIRE (Registry of Italians Residing Abroad) and the loss of residence in Italy. During that time you remain an Italian citizen but are considered as a foreigner.

In this section I describe the steps, systems, and issues I encountered, in order to provide a useful tool for those facing the same path, foreigners included.
